Hi, I’m Marina, founder of The Painted Carousel Nail Studio.
My journey to becoming a nail technologist and artist wasn’t a straight path, but rather one shaped by my deep love for creativity and performance. Before I ventured into the world of nails, I spent years in the entertainment industry, where I honed my skills in the performing arts. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, the world of theatre gave me a profound appreciation for detail, expression, and the power of transformation.
As much as I loved the creative energy of the entertainment world, I felt a pull towards something new—something where I could merge my passion for artistic expression with a more tangible, hands-on craft. That’s when I turned my focus to nail artistry. I trained as a nail technologist and embraced the idea of using nails as my canvas. It was a natural progression from performance, where every design is an opportunity to create something beautiful, unique, and expressive.
The Painted Carousel Nail Studio is my way of bringing my artistic vision to life in a completely different form. I combine my love for the arts with precision nail care, offering each client a personalized experience that celebrates their individuality.
