To keep appointments running smoothly, safely and fairly for all clients, please take a moment to read the studio policies before booking. These policies are designed to protect both you and the business while ensuring every appointment feels relaxed, creative and enjoyable.

 

By booking an appointment with The Painted Carousel Nail Studio, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the following policies.


Booking & Deposits

 

The Painted Carousel Nail Studio operates strictly by appointment only. 

​

A $20.00 booking deposit is required to secure all appointments. This deposit confirms your booking and allows dedicated time to be reserved specifically for you. Deposits are non-refundable within 48 hours of your appointment.

Deposits are non-transferable for cancellations made within 48 hours. If sufficient notice is provided (more than 48 hours), your deposit may be transferred to a future booking.

 

Remaining appointment balances are due at the conclusion of your service.

Appointment Confirmations

Once your appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation email or message containing:
- Appointment details
- Studio location information
- Preparation instructions

- Appointment management links (where applicable)

 

Arrival & Late Policy

 

Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment.

If you are running late, please notify the studio as soon as possible. Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may have their service adjusted to fit within the remaining appointment time.

Clients arriving 15+ minutes late may have their appointment cancelled.

 

No-shows or repeated late arrivals may require full prepayment before future bookings are accepted.

Late arrivals do not reduce appointment pricing.

Guests & Children

 

Appointments are designed as one-on-one studio experiences.

Due to:

* Sharp tools

* E-file equipment

* Chemicals and electrical equipment

* Limited Shared Salon/Studio space

Additional guests and children are generally not permitted unless pre-approved.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

 

Life happens — understanding goes both ways. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours notice may have their deposit transferred to a future booking. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours: Deposit is forfeited May require partial/full payment before rebooking

 

If The Painted Carousel Nail Studio needs to reschedule your appointment: An alternative appointment time will be offered

Your deposit will transfer to the new appointment. If no suitable appointment can be arranged, your deposit may be refunded

Please note: Tap payments may incur a small processing surcharge.

Full payment is required at the end of your appointment. Receipts are available upon request.

 

Nail Art Bookings

 

The Painted Carousel Nail Studio specialises in detailed nail artistry and structured gel services. Clients booking nail art are encouraged to send inspiration photos at least 48 hours before their appointment. Allow additional appointment time for detailed sets.

Please understand: Inspiration images are used as references only. Exact copies of another artist’s work may not be recreated

Custom artwork will always be adapted to suit your nails, shape and overall design vision

 

Nail Art Tiers:

Tier 1 — The Carousel: Simple accents, chrome, dots, line work

Tier 2 — The Paradiso:
Moderate detail, cat eye, marble, florals, gems

Tier 3 — The Variété: Complex hand-painted art, custom sets, charms, statement designs

 

Fixes, Repairs & Guarantee

Your nails are created with care, precision and professional products.
If something goes wrong due to product application within 72 hours of your appointment, please contact the studio immediately with clear photos.

​

Eligible issues may include:

* Lifting

* Peeling

* Product separation

​

If assessed as application-related, repairs will be completed free of charge at the next available repair appointment.

Please note: Trauma damage (slamming, snapping, impact damage etc.) is not covered.

Repairs requested after 72 hours may incur a repair fee

Repair pricing varies depending on complexity and timing

 

Existing Nail Product / Removal Policy

 

To achieve the best results, removals or foreign product must be disclosed when booking. Additional time and charges may apply for:

*Acrylic removal.

*Heavy product removal.
*Incorrectly booked removals.
* Extensive previous work from other salons.

If product removal has not been booked, appointment services may need to be modified due to time limitations.

 

Social Media & Image Use

​

The Painted Carousel Nail Studio loves showcasing finished work and creative designs.

Photos/videos may be taken during or after appointments with client consent. Clients may opt out of social media posting at any time. Images created by The Painted Carousel Nail Studio remain intellectual property of the business.

Tagging and sharing studio work is always appreciated 
 

 

Mobile Appointments

 

Mobile services are available by prior arrangement only.

Clients booking mobile appointments must provide:
* A clean, safe and well-lit workspace
* Access to power outlets
* Suitable seating/table setup

 

Travel fees may apply depending on location and distance.

Nail Health & Contraindications

 

The health and safety of your natural nails always comes first.Services cannot be performed if there are signs of:
* Fungal infections
* Open wounds
* Severe nail damage
* Contagious skin conditions
* Unsafe nail conditions
If you are unsure whether your nails are suitable for treatment, please contact the studio before booking.

 

Liability

 

The Painted Carousel Nail Studio follows professional hygiene, sanitation and safety procedures at all times.

However, Clients accept responsibility for allergic reactions or sensitivities to nail products. The studio is not liable for injuries, accidental damage or adverse reactions once aftercare instructions have not been followed. Services may be refused where safety concerns arise

 

Right To Refuse Service

 

The Painted Carousel Nail Studio reserves the right to refuse or terminate appointments where:
* Policies are breached
* Behaviour is inappropriate or unsafe
* Nail conditions are unsuitable for treatment
* Harassment, disrespect or repeated no-shows occur
